[ Park Yeo-jin reporter] Epic Games (national team Sweeney) announced on the 28th a strategic collaboration with Autodesk. Through this, the company plans to expand its immersive real-time 3D experience in various industries.
First, 'Levitt' for the design and documentation of buildings and infrastructure projects and 'Twin Motion', which provides high-quality real-time 3D rendering for design and construction work.
The two companies selected the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry as part of this cooperation. Epic Games' twin motion will be provided as a twin-motion for Auto Desk Levitt, and will be presented to all Levi subscribers through Levi's new release.
The cooperation between the two companies continued in 2008 when Autodesk participated in Epic Games' integrated partner program, and integrated Autodesk's 3D design software with Unreal Engine. In addition to Levitt, it supports 3DS Max, Davis Works, and Inventor Workflow, and last year, new Mayan Unreal Live Link Plug-in was developed. This allows media and entertainment (M & E) creators to stream Unreal Engine data in Maya in real time.
Both Epic Games and Autodesk are members of the Metals Standard Forum, and the two companies plan to create the value of real-time content production by developing customer experiences in various industries, including M & E and manufacturing.
